Treating the ST Channel
The lower Stomach meridian treatment is helpful for the treatment of any leg, hip or foot issue. In fact, even neck and back problems can release from the treatment of this incredibly important and overlooked body area. Treating the lower stomach channel can also help with brain fog, headaches, sinus problems, fatigue, menstrual disorders and digestion. Many have noticed more energy as well.
The Technique: First, park a cup at ST 36. Depending on how tight it is, the cup can be left for 5 minutes in this location. Mobilize the ankle with this cup in place. Another method is to glide up and down the tibialis anterior while flexing and extending the ankle joint.
This is a great treatment for shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and hip and leg conditions, and improving the overall circulation of Qi in the body.
