Shoulder Injury

The points used in shoulder injuries are very often the same, no matter what the injury. If there is a mobility issue without acute heat injury and after tissue damage has been ruled out, then cups can be applied to the affected muscles and very small movements initiated.

Movement should be supported by the practitioner’s body position. If it is a Cold condition, such as a Frozen shoulder, then movement is recommended. If it is a heat condition such as Bi Syndrome with heat in an acute stage, then no movement is indicated.

Movement generates heat, so any cold conditions will benefit from mobilization.
